Buffalo or Indian Head Nickel Necklace. Authentic Buffalo/Indian Nickel, made into a lovely, simplistic necklace. The Buffalo nickel or Indian Head nickel is a copper-nickel five-cent piece that was struck by the United States (Mint from 1913 to 1938). Each coin I sell has been circulated in the public domain as money at one time or another. The coins were designed so that whichever image is facing forward (Indian/Buffalo), the image in the back is upside down. Chain choices: 18" or 24" 2.4 or 3mm curb chain, 2.4mm 18" or 24" ball chain, or sterling silver plated 18" snake chain. I use a 7mm split ring on the ball chain and a 6mm jump on the rest. If you want to switch that, please let me know in the comments. After circulation and time, vintage coins have wear and patina. No one coin is just alike. All of the coins are partial-year quality. I use Renaissance Wax on all coins to create a soft sheen, protect, and minimize tarnish to the metal. Small polish cloth comes free with the purchase of a necklace.
