Best known for his seminal patriotic anthem "God Bless the USA," Lee Greenwood burst onto the scene in 1981 following a personal discovery by Mel Tillis's road manager, and used his slightly raspy voice to great advantage, filling a niche in country and western markets that led many to dub him musical heir to Kenny Rogers. He subsequently released a series of blockbuster albums that drew a wide and loyal fanbase, including the 1983 If There's Any Justice, the 1986 Streamline and the 1992 American Patriot. Greenwood headlines the performance film Lee Greenwood Live, in which he performs ten hits before an enthusiastic audience. Musical guest stars include Pinkard & Bowen and Frenchie Burke. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi. Individual track selection, Fanzone, Bonus track quiz, Quantum Leap Propaganda.
